How do lash and brow treatments work?
Your treatment begins with a quick discussion about the shape, colour or finish you’d like. Brow waxing or threading removes unwanted hair and helps maintain or reshape the brows. Tinting adds temporary colour to the brow hairs or lashes, making them look darker and more defined.
An Elleebana lash lift uses a lifting solution and curved shield to raise and curl your natural lashes from the base. The result lasts until the treated lashes gradually grow out. A patch test may be needed before tinting or lash lifting, particularly if it’s your first treatment.

How long do eyebrow and eyelash tints last?
Most brow and lash tints last around three to six weeks. The colour will gradually fade as the hairs grow and shed. Henna may also stain the skin beneath the brows, but this usually fades sooner than the colour on the hairs.
How long does an Elleebana lash lift last?
An Elleebana lash lift usually lasts around six to eight weeks. Results gradually soften as your natural lashes grow and are replaced.
Is eyebrow waxing or threading better?
Both methods remove hair from the root. Waxing is a quick way to shape and tidy the brows, while threading offers precise hair removal without using wax. The right option depends on your skin and personal preference.
Can I have my eyebrows waxed if I use retinol?
Retinol, prescription retinoids and exfoliating acids can make the skin more sensitive and increase the chance of irritation from waxing. Check your skincare before booking, as threading may be a better option.
How should I get ready for a lash or brow appointment?
Arrive without eye or brow makeup where possible. Contact lenses should be removed before an eyelash tint or lash lift. Your appointment may need to be postponed if the eye area is irritated or infected.
What should I avoid after an Elleebana lash lift?
For the first 24 to 48 hours, avoid steam, high heat, rubbing the eyes and rich or oily products around the lashes. Follow the aftercare given at your appointment, as it can vary between lash-lift systems.
Can I wear mascara after a lash lift?
Yes. Wait at least 24 hours before applying regular mascara and avoid waterproof formulas, which can be harder to remove without rubbing the lashes.
Are lash and brow treatments suitable for sensitive skin or eyes?
Suitability depends on the treatment and the cause of the sensitivity. Tinting and lash lifting may require a patch test, while threading may be considered when waxing isn’t suitable. Treatments shouldn’t be carried out over active irritation or an eye infection.
