What happens during a Customised Facial?
The appointment starts with a brief conversation about how your skin has been feeling and any current concerns. Sangita will assess your skin, then select the products and techniques used during the facial.
Depending on what your skin needs, this may include cleansing, exfoliation, facial massage and a targeted mask. The treatment is adjusted on the day rather than following the same steps for every client.

It can help with dryness, dehydration, dullness, rough texture, mild congestion and sensitivity. Sangita will focus the facial on what you’d like help with.
Is a Customised Facial suitable for acne or pigmentation?
It may help with mild congestion or dull-looking skin. If you have ongoing acne, acne scarring or pigmentation, you may need a more targeted treatment. Book a Skin Consultation if you’re unsure.
What is the difference between a Customised Facial and an Advanced Facial?
A Customised Facial is planned around what your skin needs at the appointment. Lira Facials use Lira Clinical products for specific skin concerns. Advanced Facials may include an enzyme peel, vitamin infusion, LED Light Therapy or a mix of treatments.
Is a Customised Facial suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Sangita can choose gentler products and techniques for sensitive skin. Let her know about any allergies, recent reactions, skin conditions or prescription skincare before your appointment.
How often should I have a Customised Facial?
It depends on your skin, the products you use at home and any other treatments you’re having. Sangita can let you know how often to book.
Is there downtime after a Customised Facial?
Most clients don’t need any downtime. Your skin may look a little pink for a short time, depending on the products and exfoliation used.
Do I need a Skin Consultation before booking a Customised Facial?
No, but if you’re new to Skinworks or you’re unsure which treatment to book, choose the Consultation with Customised Facial. Sangita can assess and treat your skin at the same appointment.
