WHAT’S INVOLVED?
A consultation is a prerequisite and during this time we will analyse the area to be treated and discuss all aspects of the treatment, (the treatment is not performed on the same day as your consultation).
A topical anaesthetic is applied 40 minutes prior to your treatment so the discomfort level is very minimal with virtually no pain during the treatment.
Once completed the superficial dark spots will peel away and heal within 3 to 5 days.
The desired results can be seen immediately after treatment, however, there is still some swelling in the area that has been treated which can last for up to 3 days.
In the days following treatment, the area should be maintained with special aftercare products until the resulting superficial brown plasma dots have fallen off.
There will be no scars and the results are long-lasting and can continue lasting for years.
